In an effort to gain an understanding of myself and lend knowledge to my posterity as I hurdle towards oblivion, I have decided to start this blog.  There is no particular theme present here, but this blog will be a place for me to chronicle my thoughts and memories, share things I like, and offer nuggets of random wisdom that I hope will help someone after I have left this mortal state.  In the end I write for myself and my family.
